JOIN US FOR THE 2027 SEASON

We invite all boats with a slip at Safe Harbor Los Sueños to compete in the XIV Los Sueños Triple Crown 2027, presented by Safe Harbor Los Sueños and Chantilly Air.
Now entering its 23rd tournament season out of Los Sueños, the Triple Crown brings teams together for three legs of competitive sportfishing in Costa Rica’s Central Pacific.

LEG 2 — FEBRUARY 24–27
LEG 3 — MARCH 31–APRIL 3

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

WEDNESDAY

Registration

Day JAN start 2:30 PM • FEB & MAR start 3:30 PM
Registration in person on the tournament lawn at the Beach Club. Be sure to stop by and say hello to our sponsors.

5:30 PM
Tournament meeting for Captains and Observers to be held on the tournament lawn at the Beach Club. The meeting will be followed by a welcome buffet dinner.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY

FISHING DAY 1 & 2

4:50 AM – 5:45 AM
The Marina office hands out observer assignments. Observers must be on boats by 5:45 am at the latest, or within 5 minutes of the tournament announcing that all Observers have checked in, whichever is earlier.

6 AM OR SOONER
Boats may leave the marina and go to the fishing grounds (as soon as Tournament Control confirms all Observers have checked in and the Observer is on board the boat).

8 AM – 4 PM
Lines in at 8 am – Lines out at 4 pm.

7 PM OR SOONER
Signed scorecards must be handed in to the Tournament Committee at the Marina office immediately after the boat returns from fishing

SATURDAY

Day 3 FISHING

4:50 AM – 5:45 AM

Awards dinner starts at 7 pm, and the ceremony is approximately at 8:30 pm at the Beach Club.
